Moving to Memphis

I am a WLS patient who has a fabulous doctor in VA; however, I find I'll be relocating to Memphis TN in the very near future (east side of Memphis).  I need to try and find either a WLS surgeon or PCP who knows alot about WLS in the Memphis area.  Do you folks have any recommendations who to go to or even who to absolutely stay away from?

You input would be greatly appreciated.

Howdy hon, so glad you can join us!!! I am located in the Nashville area, but, I do have alot of WLS family in the Memphis ares, there are several of them that have used Dr. Weaver, I hear she is "Grand", But Sharon or Leticia, or Birdy sorry if I've left someone out, I know have used her, and just dearly loved her, Hope this helps. Welcome to Memphis.  I have heard that Dr. Weaver is really nice.  A lot of folks like her.  I haven't had my revision from band to DS yet but I will use my Internist for my care.  I have to go to Ky for my revision.  So I felt that who better than to do my checkups with than an Internist that knows me.  I'm sure you'll find a lot of help from the fine folks from Memphis.

Hey Wanda, welcome to the board. I hope that you will find a good Dr. in your area. You are allready asking the right questions and I'm sure several can give you the 411 that you are looking for.

Be watching the board for our next TN event, we are wanting to have a West TN event soon and it will be a great time to meet some more Loser's........lol
