just received my insurance card

hi everyone ..my name is sandy and i live in ky but on the tn line and i have been going back and forth from this forum to the ky forum and have found everyone to be extremely helpful and kind.  i have been trying to get approved thru insurance for wls since 2000.  it seems like every time the insurance is going to approve me the company my husband works for changes thier carrier or changes thier policies...i have had a rare skin disorder for over 8 yrs and havebeen really sick now for over a year with it and it has affected my ability to work and at the time all this was happening i saw no silver lining.  but i had forgotten that God works in mysterious ways.. due to the fact tht i had missed so much work this past year i was approved just last week for a ky medicaid card which covers wls..and i got my card TODAY!!!! there are certain requirements that i have to meet and i have met most of them and i am SO EXCITED and feel like this is the beginning of the life i had stopped living..thanks for listening ..God bless
