IDGOMB - Sunday Edition

Now, I signed up for the October challenge to lose 7 lbs.  I am also part of a "Watch Your Weight at Work" program where, if we gain a lb, we pay $1.  If we gain 2 lbs, we pay $2, etc.  $1 for every pound gained!  So I've cut my calories, doing great on my exercise, doing some weights and gained weight on the scales.  NO LIE.  So, today I decided, I am only doing walking for 4 weeks so that I can lose, and then I will start toning with weights.

I know this is going to sound funny, but I jogged .25 miles today.  I walked .75 at a fast pace, and while .25 doesn't sound like much, GOSH I'M TIRED!  I cannot tell you how bad of a shape my body has gotten in.  I can count on one hand the number of times I've exercised in the past 6 mos and those are all this week! ARGH!  Terrible. But I made a recommitment this week and so I am back on the treadmill again.

I walked 2 miles this morning.  More later this evening,
Sherry

Glad to hear you are feeling better, Bob and Mel, good to see you re-dedicated to the exercise part of this journey.  I helps make a strong heart.  Even thin, never obese people have weak hearts.
take care
Sherry
