October Dinner Club

Just something to think about, Chappy's is rather expensive and I don't know many people in this day and age that would be able to join us there. This is just friendly advice. What ever you all want to do would be great, I just remember some past posts from people commenting on funds being tight right now. I fall in this boat at times I'll tell ya!!

That's kind of what I was thining, Stacy.  But this is a place I've wanted to try.  Maybe for one of those "special" OH Dinner Club nights.  lol.  Right now I can afford hot dogs, and well, ground beef.  That's about it.  If we do the weenie roast, we should really all volunteer to bring something.  That would be nice.  Just a random thought from the mind of Alyssa. 

Hey, I was just commenting about Chappy's in a good way. I have always wanted to go there too. If we plan to go there we will just need lots of notice so we can prepare money wise. What ever you all want to do this month would be great with us. We had such a good time last month that I can't hardly wait to get together again!! I am even up fpr RR again because it was such fun. You all make the decision and we will be there with bells on LOL.

Weenie Roast sounds great as long as we can find a place to have it. This is the perfect time of the year for one. I am still looking and Phil is going to be asking the church in the morning. They have a BBQ pit behind the church close to the playground. We will let you know when we know something.

So have we made a decision on the weenie roast? Is this what we want to do? I like Shiela's idea about the cemetary tour as well.  What does everyone think? Sorry about the date change, but I read my calendar wrong.

I know several people would like to try Chappy's, me included.  Can I suggest maybe the December Dinner Club be held there???  That way we all have plenty of time to save our pennies.

Let's think about November and December's Dinner Club.  Last year due to the holidays, we just postponed November and December's and all met at the Christmas party then resumed the Dinner Club gatherings for January.  Is that what we want to do this year? Or do we want to have an additional meeting.  I'd love to try Chappy's too, I've heard so many good things about it.  How weight loss friendly are they?

I don't know much about Chappy's, but you can check out their menu at http://www.chappys.com/.  Their prices are not posted; however, I have heard they are a bit pricey.  I was told by a friend that lunch for 2 was well over $40, I would suspect dinner for 2 would be quite a bit higher.
