Post Gastric-ByPass Undergarments

Ok, this is a subject that I'm sure will come up at some point and time, and I figure since I'm in need, now is as good a time as any.  I have gotten to the stage where I need some "support".  I'm not ready for plastics just yet and I was hoping to begin that process in the spring, but with a grandbaby on the way, I might have to wait until later in the year for that.  In the meantime, I have a bad case of the "jigglies" and need some additional support in the abdomen and midriff area.  So, are there any ladies out there that have any suggestions as to what type of undergarments provide good support in that area?  I would like to purchase something that is light weight, not binding and doesn't feel as if it is cutting you in 2 pieces (I'm asking for a lot aren't I).  Oh, and the other thing is they have to be relatively easy to get in and out of (for bathroom purposes).  So, if you have purchased things in the past and have a good/bad report on them, please let me know.  I'm hoping to be able to purchase something this weekend.  I just need something that is going to give support and "suck it in".

Thanks.

And, I am needing a garment like a bathing suit, which holds you in and also has a size C fully padded bra inside.  and I mean, FULLY PADDED.

I am with you on this one! I bought a couple different things. The first one I got was one that you put on like shorts. It had "legs" that went over the thigh (but not all the way to the knee) and had a tall stomach area so it could be pulled all the way up. I didn't like this one as well. It is not very easy to get on and off because it is a tight fitting piece. And it always rolled down on me when I needed it to stay up over the stomach areas.
Another one I got was a one piece (forget what those are called). But it has the bra with straps and then snaps between the legs for going to the bathroom. It doesn't have any legs on it. I do like this one. It is not a tight item so it isn't for supportive or used for a lot of "sucking it in" purposes. I use it primarily to "smooth" out. With all my excess skin I have like 2 stomachs - one on top and one on bottom (TMI - sorry!). So, I use it to smooth the rolls into 1 stomach. hahaha. So, it is just like an everyday kind of garment. I found it for pretty cheap at the paytex store in opry mills.
But if you need a tight fitting "suck it in" kind of thing, I am sure you can find those too.

Thanks Misty.  I may have to make a trip to Opry Mills this weekend and see what I can find.

SPANX!!! Seriously. I love them. They support from the thighs up to the breast. I have also found a new love of padded bras. I have never had to wear one before in my life, but now that I have nothing left up top I need something.

SPANX... I LOVE them, I don't feel like I'm being smothered but I am supported. The ones I wear now go from my thighs to just under mt bra so I don't have the "cut into" look!! Found them on e-bay.

Wendy While you are on your search and find some fake ta'tas, make sure to let me know! LOL

You might want to check TJ Maxx.  Sometimes they do have one piece garments.  I have seen a few that I would have loved, but the breast cups were too large.  I mean, hey, unless they are band aids, they are too big.  They also have great prices on them as they are much more expensive at Penneys, Macys, etc.

I thought about trying our Spanx. Do they roll down though? I haven't ever tried Spanx but I have tried a pair that go up to the bra area but they always seem to roll down by the end of the day. Is Spanx better?
