New to TN and need some help

will be relocating to the cleveland area this weekend,am getting Tenncare for my insurance,is there some doctors in the cleveland or chattanooga area that someone can recomend that will accept Tenncare?

To be honest, I dont know of any doctors outside of the Nashville area... but trying to remember where the site to find centers of excellence.  Does anyone else know?  I wish I had an answer for you, but its great to meet you, please keep coming back!  And I will try to locate that site for you where you can find a Center of Excellence.  Paula (pdsmile) might know...

The list that Scott put up for you for Centers of Exellence is the best way to go and the ones closest to you would probably be Dalton GA and Chattanooga, TN.  As for who takes TN Care, you will have to call them and ask.

I am not sure if he accepts Tenncare, but all my research points to Dr. Jack Rutledge, although he does not like to do the lap-band  if thats what you're interested in. I know several people who have gone to him and they highly recommend him (they were nurses too). There are several seminars offered at Memorial Hospital, and some at Erlanger. The trick is finding out which one Dr. Rutledge will be at. Just ask when you make your reservation. You have to be picky, this is your body and you only have one of those to give. You can go to several seminars and meet all the sugeons if you want. It's imperative that you find one that's right for you. As for me, Dr. Rutledge is the right choice.
