Hello to Everyone

Well, it has been quite awhile since I've posted, although I read the posts almost everyday.  There has been quite a lot going on here lately and I'm just exhausted reading about it.  I hope everyone is at a "good" place now and can move forward.

I want to say hello to all the new folks that are contemplating surgery or that are going through whatever steps are required by their insurance company/doctor.  Keep up the good work and keep fighting the fight - it is all worth it in the end - don't give up and don't throw in the towel.  You have a very important cause to fight for - YOU.

To those that have had surgery and are in various phases of their journey - Congratulations, you are doing an awesome job and you have taken the "bull by the horns" and are now in control.  Keep up the good work - your goal is in sight and you will be there before you know it.

For those that are hurting due to illness, job loss, loss of loved one, depression, or whatever the case may be, know that I've been reading the posts and have had each of you in my prayers.  Prayer is one of the most powerful tools God has given us and He hears each and every prayer.  For those of you that are Christians, hang on to your faith and don't lose hope, draw closer to God and lean on him and remember He never gives us more than we can handle.  The same goes to those that are not Christians - now is the time to draw close to God and let Him have control - I promise you, He can handle anything we give Him.

As for me, my weight loss is still progressing.  As of this morning, I am down just over 135 pounds and have about 19 or more so to go to get to my goal.  I'm thrilled and have already begun consulting with plastic surgeons to get a feel for what procedures they think I need and the cost so I can begin saving and making plans for when and how.  Overall, life is good, especially now that I'm going to be a grandma (Mimi).  My daughter is due April 23.  She was carrying twins, but unfortunately, she lost one of them the other week.  The surviving baby is healthy and doing quite well.  She is in her 11th week and doing well and she just transferred in her job and has a great new job that will be full time with benefits (YAY!).

I hope each of you has a great day and is blessed by someone/something and that you can be a blessing to someone as well.

It is wonderful to see you posting again!  The only problem is that you need a new picture.  Scott...are you around?  Wendy needs help with a new picture when you get a chance.

Welcome back!

Thanks Ms. Freddie.  Yeah, I need to work on getting that new picture up.  Hopefully, soon, I can get some good pictures and get one posted.

Thanks Misty.  Yes, I am quite excited and even more excited that she is moving back home with her dad and me so once the baby gets here I'll be able to spoil it every day.  Thanks for the prayers - we have faith that this pregnancy will go well.

Hope you are enjoying your little one.  They grow up so fast, so treasure each and every moment.  It's hard to believe my baby is going to have a baby and be a mommy - it seems like she should still be a baby herself. (LOL)

Wendy

It is good to see you back and posting again, as well as Susan, Misty, Juanita, good to see some new folks that either I don't remember or are new all together, such as John from Lavergne...  Please forgive me if you aren't new because my memory is so terrible.  I can't remember my name sometimes! LOL

Wendy

Thanks Melinda.  Yes, it is hard to believe that I am almost at goal and it hasn't even been a year yet.  WLS rocks and I love it.  Just wish I hadn't waited so long to have it done, but I'm enjoying life now more than ever.

Hi and welcome back to posting.  It's good to see you, and I enjoyed your post.  You're doing an awesome job, keep it going.  You'll need all the energy you can get with a new grandchild.  Congradulations on becoming a mimi, am sorry about the loss of the other twin.  God needed that baby.

I agree, Scott needs to get busy on giving you a new face.  Love ya

Kathy
