Yesterday and today is my first surgiversaries because of the problems I had with a leak I have a 2 day anniversary.
We drove 2 hours to Memphis to see the nut and doc. Every thing went well until we got to the doctors office and I was filling out the paperwork and one of the papers was a form stating that medicare may not pay for this visit and would we pay $212 if they don't so we talked it over and deceided we didn't want to pay that just so she could say good job so I told them that and left.
The visit with the nut went well. She neasured and weighed me. I haven't made it to my goal yet but I am still losing, I still have about 20 lbs to go.  From my highest weight of 252 lbs I've lost 117 lbs.
I had my latest roll of pictures developed this week so I wll be putting a new avatar picture up soon.
My face just keeps aging the more I lose but that is one of the things that goes with the weight lose and being 67 years old.
Good luck to everyone starting thier journey. If I can do it any one can.
Better go get dressed and get my day started, I only have 6 more days until I have to start exercing again after my hernia surgery.
         Take care everyone.        Birdy

Happy Surgiversary! What a year of changes you have had. Can't wait to see your new pictures.
By the way, even if you just go to your regular Dr, make sure you see someone so you can get your labs/vitamin levels checked. They do that at one year post-op. Even if you feel ok, you never know what could be low so get checked out so you can stay feeling good.
