Pictures

Just wanted to let everyone know that I have upload some pictures that was taken of my brother. My mom is in them with us. I am still having doubts that this time will be different. I so want him to proof me wrong I hate having these mixed emotions about him.

He did call me tonight just like he said he would.

Hi Cheryl! Like your new avatar! I haven't seen you in a little while and you have changed so much! You are doing a gret job on your weight loss.
I am happy to hear that your brother is in your life again. I know how worried you are about it and concerned about getting to close. Just know you will never be able to control what he will and won't do. But for the time being, you should just enjoy your time without worry or fear of the future. You can only live for today. Worry about tommorrow - tommorrow. Enjoy the time you do have with him and if he chooses to distant himself again, at least you know you lived with no regrets and tried. And that is all you can do.

Thanks Misty, I am still looking for something else. This one was me on the day of the Walk from Obesity. I know what you mean as far as my brother and I am really trying. Live is way to short to not be talking to people. My DH will tell you that I am the Queen Worry Wort.......lol I have always been like that. It was great when he called last night and said hey sis, I haven't hear that in so long. When we got done we each told the other that we loved them, and yes I got a little teary eyed. We invited him and his family to Thanksgiving Dinner this year at Mom's, I am so looking forward to that, and heck that will be here before we know it. We are also talking about doing something for our birthdays in November, his wife's is the 6th, mine is the 18th and his is the 21st. So next month has the potential of being a tremendous (sp) month for me.

Yall need to include extended family members in your November birthday celebration - mine will actually fall on Thanksgiving Day this year.  Now you know why everyone wants to call me a "turkey".
