I know how much protein I'm suppose to get every day, but I'm not sure about the Carbs, Calories, Fats, and Sodium.  Here is the breakdown range for this past week:

Calories:                 575   -    751
Fat:                             17   -       37
Carbs:                        16   -       24
Protein:                       86   -       88
Sodium:                 1,335  -  2,136

Would someone let me know if this range of numbers if acceptable or if I need to make some changes to my diet?

Thanks guys,

B

Hi your protein looks good for a daily, but for the past week, it's low.  Your sodium intake is too high.  That can cause water retention, heart problems, and other problems.  I wish I could get my carbs down, but they range high most of the time.  I don't use any salt, and when I open a can of veggies, I rinse them a lot to remove as much of the salt they are canned in.  I use maybe a salt substitute, or none at all.  Like green beans from a can, I'll rinse them for about 15 minutes, and cook them only with diced onions, or dried onions.  Same as if they were fresh, I only use onions or salt free almonds.  They will season the beans better then adding salt and greese.
