Worried...........scared....asking for prayers please.

I just wanted to ask for everyones positive thoughts and prayers. I posted awhile back about my Aunt that is really sick. Things are getting worse by the day. She has so much fluid in her tiny body that it is oozing out of her legs. She has never weighed over 100 lbs in her life and as of yesterday she was 137. She is making those awful gurgling sounds. So basically she is drowning in her own fluid. Hospice has allready been there today and they have her on morphine and is saying to just keep giving it to her when she wakes up to keep her comfortable. She doesn't know what day it is. She still knows people, but it is hard for her. This is the last family contact that I have with my dad's side of the family. I am having a real hard time with this. Even though I lost my dad over 30 years ago, it is going to be like loosing him all over again.

Also, my mom had to go for a ultra sound today, she has a ambulisome(sp) in her stomach. She has had it for a little while, but now the doctors seem to think that it is growing. The last time they checked it was like 3.5 and they really start getting concered when it gets closer to 5. She is a breast cancer survior, but anything like this alarms us of course. Of course the tech's could not tell her anything today, so we are just waiting on the call from the doctor with the results.

So please keep both my aunt and mom in your prayers. We all know what a great place this board is for asking for prayers, and we know that it works. I will  keep everyone updated.

Thanks so much,
Cheryl

Cheryl,

I have added all you guys to my prayers.  Just remember if your Aunt does pass away, she will no longer be in any pain.

My prayers are with you and your aunt.  Please let God comfort you  during this time.

Also, could your mother have an "abdominal aneurysm"?  My father has one and sometimes the docs can just
watch them for a while.  I'll be praying for her too.
