My Birthday yesterday
Hi I wanted to share with you what happened on my birthday yesterday. I am back on IV antibiotics with yet another sinus infection. I had to be in Lebanon at 7:30am, so I was doing the medicine while I was driving, when I got there I flushed my port and put in the blood thinner and I was done. I was with a friend where she goes to get her free food each month and I get mine. Just prior to my leaving for Lebanon, my younger son in Portland, TN called to be the first to wish me happy birthday. That was a first, he very seldom calls and never even sends me a card. That was at 6:30am. While I was at the church in Lebanon I started getting really sick, I was running a 102 degree temp, and just about passed out. My head hurt so bad from my right sinus's being impacted. One of the mininsters was with me just praying over me, he placed 2 fingers on my forehead and just prayed that my head would quit hurting and that I would be filled with God's healing.
My head quit throbbing, I became chilled, but I was no longer dizzy from the fever. His hands were bright red and very hot, the fever left me and went to his hands. I have heard of those who could speak in tongues, but never met one who when praying touch someone and take away their pain and suffering. I hadn't been able to sleep since Sunday evening because of this high fever and my head throbbing. Last night I fell asleep at 6pm and woke up this morning at 9am. My sinus's are open, no fever, my head isn't hurting. I feel alive again. The power of prayer. Oh, and my grandson who is going to be 4 on Oct. 26, called while I was gone and sang happy birthday on my answer machine.
It was a great day to be sure.
