Hello Again!

It has been a very long time since I posted on this board.  About 6 months ago I posted about us possibly moving to Tennessee....Well, we are here...In Chattanooga!!!!  Thanks to the board, I have made a very good friend up here....Hi, Elizabeth!  :)  Anyway, I'm going to try to start being a bit more involved.  I see that someone here rides motorocycles.  My husband rides.  He was on the Trail of Tears ride over the weekend.  Maybe he could join a ride sometime?

I do have a question.  We are looking for a nice cabin to rent for a family get away.  We have a 1 year old and a 6 year old.  We don't need a lot to entertain us.  I see that the TN parks have a lot of parks with cabins.  Could you guys recommend any one of them?

It has been 3 years now since my surgery.  I have had a baby since the surgery.  I started out at 350+, lost to 180, gained back up to 260 (while pregnant).  I'm currently at 207.  I'm working on it...Not as hard as I should, but I'm working on it.  :)

Fall Creek Falls State Park is not too awful far from you and they have some nice cabins.  Or you could head up my way to the Great Smoky Mountains, there are a gazillion chalets and cabins for rent over the Internet.  Welcome to Tennessee!

THank you, Marilyn.  We got married in Gatlinburg.  We thought about that...fun stuff for the kids.  I saw Fall Creek Falls...it looks nice.  Maybe we'll go there first then visit Gatlinburg in the spring with the kids.  Thank you!!!!

my husband and I stayed at the precious memories cabin just last mnth we loved it so very much.

Welcome back Stephanie!  It sounds like your life is similar to all of ours!  I'm glad you've finished the move to Chattanooga! 

Most all of the cabins in the State Parks are pretty good.  My suggestion, stay away from the ones that say "rustic".  They seem to be just that...rustic!!!  Ask about specials, it seems the State is really pushing cabin rentals to their employees!  You just might get lucky!

Fall Creek Falls is awesome!  The cabins are really nice, there is plenty of hiking and trails.  I'm sure the kids would love it!  If you have ever seen the re-make of The Jungle Book (the live action version), this is where it was filmed!
