I lived through another surgery hernia

It has been seven days since my hernia surgery and I swear the pain gets worse every day. I plan was to come home the next day but things kept happening. First my bladder wouldn't work and they had to keep putting the tube back in. Finally Thursday I started putting out a small drizzle and by night I was going pretty good.
Early Friday morning I started cramping up because I hadn't had bowel movement since Monday. I kept asking them to do some thing and finally after 3 hours they gave me a suppostory which didn't work so a nice nurse got permission to dig some of the hard stuff out of there and then that got things moving but I was weak after that but the doc finally released me.
Life just isn't easy for me. Lets have a pitty partyfor me.
Some how I gained 10 lbs while in there. It seems like I can eat almost anything without getting sick which is bad because I need the dumpping to keep me in check.
The doc said I had hernias from my belly button to my breast bone and he warned me not to lift weights any more or they would come back and I think the biggest one has come back already.
Thanks for letting go on about thing. I hope to be around more when I get to feeling better. I feel like I am back to a year ago with no engery and in more pain than then.
                   I better go for now and get my shower and get ready to go to town. LOL Birdy

I've been worried about you. I kept looking for your post since surgery. I have heard that hernia surgery is very painful. I'm surpised you even feel like going to town. Your in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you have a wonderful day. I will be in your neck of the woods this weekend. My 2 year old grandson is having a birthday party at the park in L-town on Saturday. I also have a new great nephew that I hope to visit while there. Wishing you well. I also wanted to tell you I finally got a surgery date. October 23rd in Nashville.
