Wild and Crazy week-end...But I accomplished my goal!!!!!!

 I had a goal on my profile that I wanted to be able to Walk in the Walk from Obesity this year. Well I done it, didn't walk near as much as most, but I am content with what I done. The Walk was fantastic, most everything went according to plan. Very well organized, had everything that we needed, stuck to our timeline started on time and I think got done on time.

Today I started back to work I worked the Titan's game as a usher. It went pretty good, I was kinda thrown in and not really told exactly what to do, but I managed. I have been off from work for 3 years, and before that I had only worked at one other job that I started right out of high school and gave that company 31years. So today was a huge step for me, not only was it a new job it was something that I have never done, dealing with the public. At my other job I was always behind the scenes with stuff and never seen the public. Of course with my weight issues, that was my comfort zone. So needles to say today was a big difference from what I was use to.

So now I am wanting things to calm down for a few days, so I am hoping for a stress free week.......lol......like that can happen around the Parker house.........lol

My dear friend, when I saw you walking in the walk, it was the most satisfying time of the whole event!  I knew of your goal, and I was proud to be there and document the occasion!

Congrats on all you've accomplished!  You are a true inspiration to me and others!

You did a wonderful Job at the registration desk and in the walk.  Thanks also for cheering everyone on as they crossed completed the miles.

What an exciting weekend you had.  Being able to accomplish your goal by walking in the Walk and then starting a new job the next day.  You have such a great personality I'm glad you are no longer hidiing away from the public.  Rest up for a few days, but not for long.  I feel there are great things just around the bend for you and Phil.
