2 Month Post-Op Photos, For Those That Have Been Waiting.
Okay, I have now posted a new photo album with some 2 month postop full body pictures and some facial photos of me for the first time in years wearing lipstick, eyeliner and mascara. It's been a long time my friends, a looooooong time. It's hard to think that I really deserve to look that way, but..............I think I deserve it and then some. To date I've lost 125.6 pounds that includes the 42 pounds since surgery.

Thank you Baboo! Well, I do have a few admirers but I just look the other way and keep walking.............lol and for those wild and crazy guys I'm considering getting a vicious dog, an oversized stick, and some pepper spray, that way I'm fully armed and loaded........although I have considered a chastity belt but whew that's a lot of money for a custom made one............lol, then again one can never spend too much on self security, hahaha.
Hugs,

Thank you! Trust me, it's still very hard work, after all remember this is just a tool. I walk 6 days a week unless I don't feel good, otherwise I hit the street early in the mornings and I basically wal****il I'm satisfied and that can be a rather lengthy walk, this morning I walked for about an hour and still wanted to make another trip around another neighborhood but decided I would go on home. I will more than likely walk again today, it's just in my blood now and I suppose I'm just taking advantage of not hurting anymore when I try to walk.
I feel TERRIFIC! I don't have to use my inhaler with every step I take now, unless there's something in the air that I'm allergic to. I can walk and not have to worry about the fire that my legs would be working on setting because they rubbed together........lol and I'm not extremely insecure about my looks anymore, shucks I even wear leggings to walk in, that's how secure I am now. Of course my legs are getting a very good workout and I didn't realize how much muscle I had in my thighs but I know now.
The food is as close to normal as one can expect. I'm in the soft foods stage, so I cook all of my meats very tender. I even cook my chicken in a little chicken broth, and then there is no need for any other seasonings. For me personally, I'm staying away from a lot of salt.
I can say that as long as you stick to all of the rules and do as you are instructed to you will come out just fine. I guess in a way I'm one of those rebels, because no matter how bad I felt after surgery I wanted to get up and get to moving and I have a very strong will to do what I set my mind to do, so I survived it all and will continue to do so. I just know you will make it thru the whole process, don't worry, we're all here for you!

Hello Theresa! It's nice to meet you. Talk about hard work, that's what I'm doing now. I find that when my weight loss gets a little sluggish I stop all SF drink mixes and get back to the basic, water, and no processed foods, they tend to have a lot of "hidden" things in them. I'm able to have small amounts of crackers and a half slice of bread and other starchy foods in small amounts but I just don't care for them, I do try to get more lean protein in and the scales pick up and start moving again. I also think about when the scales don't move my body may be trying to play catch up and perhaps during that time I'm also losing some inches as well. I will meet my goal and so will you, we are equipped with a tool that is unbeatable as long as we treat it as such.
