Yes How was it? I missed it. Everyone in Clarksville is running out of gas and I didnt want to have to use all that to go to NAshville and risk running low and need to get to my dad in a hurry and not have the gas. I hate that I didnt get my shirt or goody bag but its all good.  Hope it all went well.

The Walk from Obesity was absolutely wonderful! We had approximately 250 walkers and initial estimates are that we raised around $20,000.00. Shelia, Phil, Cheryl, Paul, Scott and everyone involved did a great job and had a great time. Paul's team raised the most money, $5000.00. The weather was great, cool and only a few raindrops at the end. I'm sure the rest of the gang will be posting updates too.

WOW!!!!!

That's all I can really say.  The walk was a success in my opinion.  Not only was everything well planned and thought out, but the leadership and guidance that was given truly made this walk a success!

This is only the 2nd walk I have participated in, and I loved it.  I don;t know if it was the location (which was gorgeous), or that I'm down over 130 pounds since last year.  But this was fun!!!!!

Here is a link to some of the pics that was taken yesterday.  I'm sorry for not knowing everyones names, but if you see a picture you are in and would like a copy, send me an email, and I will get it to you!

We all had a great time. After all was said and done we raised more than previous years. All together we had lost over 8000 lbs. The sponsors really got behind us, and helped us have a Great Event. The President of the OAC Joe Nadglowski attended and was very impressed with the work the board had done. Shelia Bess did a great job coordinating and leading the board. Lisa Williams did a great directing all of us the day of events. Paul Cart and his Wife Laranda did a great job raising money. Cheryl, Beth, Eloise, Pam, and Charles worked the registration table.  Scott got us the Proclamation from the Governer's office and he read it to the crowd. Scott also, took  pictures through out the event. Freddie and her husband Doug for helping out with  a little bit of everything on whatever we needed I filled in where ever I was needed. Paula and Dawn got us tables, Todd Bess got the chairs. But without all of those that attended this walk and volunteered , and those *****gistered and could not attend  helped us do a great thing to honor the memory of Brian Woodward. I would like to thank everyone for what they did. I'm sure that I have forgotten someone and I'm sorry. So I will finish up like this.......A BIG OLE THANK YOU to everyone that was there and that it would not have been such a great success without each and everyone of you.

Phil
