Also, don't forget that the Walk is this Sat. if you haven't signed up to volunteer and or registered to Walk, the time is running out. There is going to be a 1 mile loop that you can walk as little or as much as you can. I will not be able to do the whole one mile, so I am just going to walk around the pond, with that said, I don't want to do that by myself, so if anyone else has issues with the full mile, let me know and we can walk around the pond together.

Hope everyone is having a great day.

Wow, I love it when a plan comes together!
Edited to add: I forgot, Beth and I are out of town on the weekend of Oct 10-13! So this works out even better!
The second Saturday of the month was decided on so that people could easily keep track of when the Lunch Bunch would meet. If we start moving it around it will quickly become very confusing for everyone's schedules.
Y'all can flame me if you wish but I say we keep it on October 11th as scheduled. The Hickory Hollow IHOP is fine for location but the date needs to be kept the same. There are other folks who will not be able to make it on the 18th because of work or other previous committments but they can make it on the 11th.
Also, we can still celebrate Phil's last Lunch Bunch before he joins the Loser's Bench.

I must agree with Susan. There have been other times that it was suggested to move the lunch bunch. One was during Susan's plastic surgery recovery and it was not changed. She missed it that month, it was not even moved for her (our lunch bunch inventor and dorm mother). So I dont think it should be moved at all for sake of fairness.
And, there have been folks at every stage come to Lunch Bunch...during their liquid diets (such as Chandra at the picnic) and folks who are on liquids right after their surgery (Shelia and others). Its part of the growth process, for everyone to see one another and learn about the different stages on the journey.
But anyway, I posted it and asked for input and I got it.......lol So what is done is done and what has been said has been said. We all have enough things going on in our lives, without fussing about where, when, what to eat, and who or who not to eat with.

I am not going to allow you to make me the bad guy here. Let's get it all out.
I responded to your post before I ever read your reply to my PM. Once I read your reply I realized that the private conversations about changing the date had already taken place and that the 8 people who can't make it on the 11th "and (you're) not even sure they can on the 18th" are Scott, Beth & RJ; Shelia, Todd & Dale; and you & Phil.
Like I said in my response to your PM. There are some who work every other Saturday and the second Saturday allows them to attend. There are others who don't get on the computer much but know the Lunch Bunch meets the second Saturday so all they have to check on is the location. If we start changing the date to try and accomodate some we will run into the issue of who to accomodate. Keeping to a regular schedule lets everyone know months in advance the dates we will meet so they can plan their budget and personal schedule accordingly.
I'm sorry you obviously feel offended by my response. I am just considering the group as a whole.
