Not a good day yesterday, but today WILL be better!
Yeterday I fell back to my old ways. I woke in a bad mood with a neckache and headache. Then, I had to deal with Cobra which I found was $422 a month and I had to pay for 2 months at once. Then, I had to turn down a new job because I can't go back to work right now and they can't hold it. So, what did I do? Eat. I had a piece of no sugar added cherry pie that I had made for company, then in a little while a rice cake, then in a little while a piece of sugar free candy, then in a little while some watermelon and lowfat cottage cheese, then in a little while a sugar free ice cream bar. This was all over about 6 hours. Grazing when I am depressed again.
I don't know what to do with myself! I am never going to get to my goal weight at this rate!
So, today I have to start over. I have to forget yesterday and go with today. God's mercies are new every morning, right? So, I need to go with that.

OK Marilyn you've been in a FUNK too long, how are we going to get you over it???? Sixty-four Million $$$$ ???? I know when LIFE comes banging at your door its not always good news! So maybe we need to lock all the junk up and give Ron the key. Set yourself a goal for exercise whether its 5,000 steps a day or 30 minutes of exercise biking, but something. Get the blood circulating, do a project, knitting, puzzle, go window shopping but get out and keep your mind busy with other things then bills, pain, not working. The sooner we get you up and going the stronger, healthier you'll get and the sooner you'll get back to work. I know easier said then done but you've have to start some where and depression has to be controlled or its going to take over your life. Your a strong person you can get past this. C'ya Bob
Sorry to hear of your grazing, but we all do it from time to time. I agree with Bob, the more I set a goal on exercise or a goal that focus' more on something than eating, the better off I am. Also not buying those items helps me. If it isn't in my house, I can't eat it!!!
Get yourself a step counter, use it for 3 days and record each day. Take the average of those 3 days and then the goal will be to add 2000 steps (~1mile) then next day. Maintain that number of steps for up to two weeks, then increase it by 1000 steps (1/2 mile). This is slow and steadily building your exercise, indurance and stamina. It helped me get out of my grazing patterns, I was focused on my steps/day and not so much on food.
By the WAY,
GO VOLS!!!!
BEAT THOSE GATORS!!!!
have a great day,
Sherry
