I'm a new grandma

The Parker's have a new addition. Today @ 11:42 my son and his GF had sweet little Josie Lee, she weighed in at 8lbs & 8ozs, she was 21 inches long with a head full of black hair. Mom was in labor for 20+ hours, she was having some complications, so they decided to go ahead and do a C Section, because the baby was turn sideways. When she was born her blood sugar was a little low, it was like 22 and they like for it to be at least in the 50's, but they say that some baby's are just like that. They are keeping a close watch on her. Of course granny and paw-paw have allready been there and started spoiling her. She wouldn't open her eyes for us, but I'm hopeing she does for us tomorrow. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You reminded me of when R.J. was born - all my dad wanted was for R.J. to open his eyes! He did everything possible to get him to open his eyes! It's a great memory for me. I am so happy for you and this weekend not next!! HAHAHA

Congrats!!!! I have 5 beautiful grandbabies and still remember how happy I was and how emotional I was when each of them were born...I'm only 41 with 5 g-babies lol...I love being a grammy!! Congrats again..now I gotta go see ur pics :)
