Just moved to Knoxville

I'm looking for a support group. Can any one help me locate one in the knoxville area?

I live in Knoxville, but my surgeons office is in Maryville.  We have a support group meeting in Maryville tomorrow night.  I am planning on going and would be happy to meet you there if you want to go.  I believe there are probably support groups that meet at Parkwest hospital in West Knoxville as well, but I don't know when and where they meet.

I live in Sevierville, about 30 minutes from Knoxville.  Several of us from east TN have sort of been discussing starting our own support group, especially those of us who did not have surgery with a surgeon here.  I have just had neck surgery, so right now it is on hold, but I really think we should do it!  I know there is a support group in Fountain City which is north Knoxville and I have heard it is a good one:

The North Knoxville Bariatric Support Group meets the 3rd Thursday of the Month will meet at 7:00 PM at Fountain City Methodist Church.

In addition to the park west support groups UT Medical Center has two a month.

On the Second Wednesday of the month in their office (Building A room 140) at 5:00 pm and then the 4th Saturday of the month at 12:00 pm in the Heart and Vascular Building training room 170.
