screwed up a friendship I guess I really oversteped my brounderies

I just need to get this off my chest,  I meet a friend on here She is great we have alot in common, Before any of this went down where I had to leave to FL.  She had been having a tough time and we would talk everyday and sometime 2 aday or so.  I had been calling and texting her and got no response so after about 4 or 5 days I drove to her house to check on her, She had been out of town to take a break and had no signal,  I guess I invaded her space by going and checking on her,  Now she will not speak to me or text me or answer my calls..... I told her I was very sorry THAT I BARGED IN ON HER, I was very worried about her, she said she had just gotten back into town,  I guess by me careing I screwed up our friendship I feel so bad, NOW i am VERY scared to get to close to any one else for the fear of getting close and something like this happening again.  WAS I that wrong in going and checking on her to her house which isnt to far from me, We had become very close having lunch out shoping I just love this girl, We shared so much did I really over step my boundrier as a friend????? I am sad I really dont see i did anything to wrong I would hope she would have done the same for me.

I know this probably will not help, but the phrase..."You only hurt the ones you love" comes to mind.  Hopefully you 2 can come to an agreement and put this behind you.  If this friendship was meant to be, it will happen.  Just take things one day at a time and know we are here for ya if you need us!

Thank you scott,  I really do care for her and we were good friends,  I just don't understand why this would make her want to stop being friends...

I don't think you did anything wrong.  Just think of all the bad things that you hear in the news everyday and what would have happened if no one cared to check in on her and she was hurt or something?  I would definately want a friend like that!!!!  So don't fret, hopefully she will realize you were only worried and not trying to invade her space.  Just give her some time, like Barbara C says.

Tina, I would love to have a friend that cared enough about me to come and check on me. I think that is a real friend. If the friendship is meant to be then it will if not move on and find a friend that will really appreciate you.

Its Annrenee i am the one with the problem, I love this friend we have so mu*****ommon.  I just don't understand why she thinks I over steped my boundiery,  By driving to her home and checking on her, After not being able to reach her for  days and knowing she was going through a tough time,  This has really made me shy about getting to close to anyone else.  I Don't have many friends just a few close one I grew up with and another my hubby and I know her and her hubby,  Other then that I had not made many friends over the past 8 years, I am from MI and moved here first in 1981, Moved back to MI in 87 and back here in 2000. This board has been great  for me.  The first person I meet and was told about the board was Kathy Newton I was at the Dr. office for my counceltation and she was there for a check up.  She introduced me to the board and you all are so great.  This is how I met this friend,  Thank you very much for your input.

Oh, Annrenee, I'm so sorry this happened to you. You absolutely did nothing wrong in my book! There have been many times in my life when I would have given my right arm for a friend like you. Hopefully this person will soon reconsider her outburst, count her blessings and resume her friendship with you.
