OT: Local Churches

I'm on the hunt for a church to start going to. Unforunately, I've been out of church for 3 yrs. There are 2 that I've been trying to decide between and I just wondered if anyone has been to either of them and can fill me in.  I'm contemplating either Mt Zion in Antioch or Lake Providence on Nolensville.  Anyone have any thoughts?

Wherever you choose just make sure your heart feels welcome!!! .......I can tell the minute I walk through the door if my heart feels the spirit........... I wish you the best!

Work like you don't need the money......

I have never been to either one of those. When I did live in Nashville, I went to Life Community Church which is in the Nolensville Rec Center on Nolensville Road.

I think my sister that met us at the bowling alley goes to Lake Providence. I'm not sure. Marie R. that posts here sometimes goes to the same church as my sister. They have about 5,000 members but have several services. My sister loves her church.

Hey Chandra, I'm new. I'm familiar with both churches. To be honest I wouldn't chose either one, but all churches have their problems and I am not trying to discourage you at all. Follow your heart and pray to God to lead you to the correct church, that will be your answer. Just because they have a huge congregation, doesn't mean that its a good church.
