Prayer for a friend update
Thanks to everyone for their prayers and thoughts. Just wanted to give you an update and it is not good at all.
My friend's father, Carl Speaks, was in a nursing home in Ashland City when he started having moments of "confusion" again. He had this issue a couple of months ago but was getting better and going through the rehab just fine. Then on Friday he started getting the confusion again and tried to get out of bed. He fell, broke his hip and his back at St. Thomas. He also had to have a blood transfusion while he was there. The worst part is his insurance has maxed out (he's been in a hospital or rehab since May) and they are not sure what is going to happen next. Once he is discharged from St. Thomas, he may not be able to go back to the nursing home because of him not having any insurance.
Your prayers would be greatly appreciated and any advice on what his family can do would be helpful as well.
