Well I had a blast yesterday. I'm not sure how many was there, but you can see by the pic it was a bunch. I got soooooo many compliments from most everyone. There was actually a couple of people that was there that was there last year and seen me, but did not know who I was. I went in kinda late yesterday on purpose to get a reaction......lol. I wore my pin that was made before surgery and like I said there was a couple of them that had to look at my pin to see who I was........I loved it. There was of course a couple of people that the remark was, oh I can tell it in your face.........like I had lost over 100 lbs in my face. But I didn't let that bother me, well ok it did a little bit. Then there were the ones that said, glad you lost the weight, I just wished you didn't have to have the surgery to lose it....ya'll know those kind. But all in all it was a great day, passed out some walk registrations and got a couple of donations. There was soooo much food, and I done great, I ate about 2 spoonfulls of beans and 1 small piece of ham and I was done. One of my uncle's loves banana pudding and "use to" me and him would fight over it, but not this year. He was scooping him out a big serving and I went up to him, scooped out another serving and said here you can have mine this year....I loved it. There was all kinds of sweets, cookies, cakes, pies, brownies, etc. But it did not even tempt me at all. I was dang proud of myself if I do say so.........lol

I have posted some pics didn't really get any good ones of me. I can't wait until next year, when we go there will be even a bigger change in me and also Phil.

Be sure to check out the youngest of the bunch, well at least for a month or so until I'm a grandma again......hehehe

Cheryl,

I am so excited the family reunion was a success for you. Sounds like your "planned entrance" was a wonderful touch. You are Phil are amazing people and as you said next years is going to be even better.

Much Love

Thats awesome Cheryl,
Don't let those folks ruin it for you, they are just jealous.  There will always be some who make snide remarks just overlook their stupidity.  LOL  I love the planned entrance, hey you have worked hard you deserve the praise.  I had lost 100lbs before people would say something other than have you changed your hair.  Great job on not over eating and letting you uncle have all that banana pudding.

Cheryl,
Glad to hear that you enjoyed your reunion.  I know you were really looking forward to it.  Love the "grand entrance" idea.  Way to go on being strong and passing up all the sweets and other food.  Next year will be even better.
Got your pm about the shirts.  I understand what you're talking about now.

I'm proud of you for turning away from the food.  I"m not sure how I would be after my surgery but normally I would go crazy with all the food during get togethers, holidays, birthdays.  I hope that changes afterwards.

Way to go.  I loved the Banana Pudding story!  The baby is cute but I'm sure your new grandbaby will out shine this baby.
