United Health Care and Revisions

Anyone have UHC and have a revision...how did it work..how long to approve..qualifications etc..

I had a revision, but my insurance company, Cariten had an ironclad exclusion for all WLS.  One of their reps did tell me though that even if they covered it, almost all insurance companies would not cover a revision.  Sorry to be a party pooper.  You might go to the revision message board on OH and ask more there.

I know my insurance company covers wls and revisions, I've allready spoken with them. I'm just trying to find out if anyone else has used the same insurance as I so I can get an idea of how long it took to approve..ALOT of people have been telling me one to two weeks if even that long and thats on the revision board so I figured I'd ask on the tennessee board since thats where I am.

That's great Charlene!  I think I may be the only one on here that had a revision, not sure though.  Didn't mean for you to think that I didn't want you on this board, not at all, just letting you know what I had heard! Welcome and hope you get your approval soon!
