My name is Marilyn. I live in Sevierville. I did not have surgery in the Knoxville area only because I needed a very difficult surgery and the doctor's there recommended the surgeon that I went to. I had to have an revision of an old procedure and it had to be open. Parkwest Comprehensive Weight Loss Center is the very best place in Knoxville to have your surgery. Dr Boyce and his partner Dr Williams are great! Here is a link to their website. http://www.parkwestcwlc.com/ You should call them at 865-694-9676 to find out when and where they are having their next seminar. That is where you will get the most information. One of my best friends and her husband are just starting this process as well and are looking forward to having surgery around Christmas. There are a couple of places in the area that I would not recommend but I don't want to publicly say their names on the board. Congrats on you decision and feel free to ask any and all questions.
