Is anyone here from west Tn?

I live in Paris, and was just wondering if there was anyone here from around the west tn. area.

I am from Union City and just joined this site today. I am looking into the gastric bypass surgery... Have you had it ?

Well hello to Union City. No, I haven't had surgery. I am on my way to RNY. BUT believe me, there are so many wonderful people here that are so willing to answer any questions you may have. I was so glad to have found OH and hope you will be too. Good luck!

I live in Pinson, which is south of Jackson.  I hold a support group meeting on the fourth Tuedsay of each month at 7pm.  PM me if you want more info.

  I am in Greenfield. I met a girl from Paris on this board 2 yrs. ago. She did have a support group in Paris. I haven't talked to her in a long time, so don't know if she still has it. I was denied because of no medical issues. You can go to my profile page & e-mail this lady. She is dlsntenn.

    I read all the post daily. Just don't feel I have anything to offer with NOT having had the surgery. Things are good. We sold our house in July so, I can breath being out of so much debt. We are in a rent house waiting to purchase another one. There is nothing availble in our town that we want. We are definetly down sizing & thinking of our retirement. (In 15 yrs. lol)
   Found out this week I am going to be a grandma again. 6th one. Boy, we are getting old.  
  Glad someone missed me. I didn't really think anyone remembered me except sweet Juanita drops a note now & them.

Hey Ellen I am from western KY but I do know where your hicktown is. As you may have notice on another post I am originally from Lexington Tn. We actually live in little Aurora Ky which is close to Kentucky lake. I come to Tennesse quite often because my grandbaies live in Lexington. I also have grandchildren in Scotts Hill Tn and close to Lenoir City Tn over in east TN. We love our Tennessee Vols. Have you had weight loss surgery? I saw on your profile where you were denied. I hate that . Did you have BCBS of TN. If so that worries me because that is what I have. I am on my 10% weight loss now. I need to lose about 4 more pounds before I go back to the doctor on the 22th.
