Hi all to my favorite support group.....
One of my favorite things to do is photo journal... In the last year and a half after weight loss surgery I have learned a lot about myself and have worked very hard to take my all consuming focus from food on to healthy alternatives.
I have found if I immerse myself into other things, food actually does become something that my body requires to live and not the other way around which was my sole way of thinking. I lived to eat. I couldn't wait to plan my next meal even before I was finished stuffing myself with my double whopper, extra size seasoned fries and jumbo size Dr. Pepper. My mind had already started to ponder as to where I would be eating dinner and what was the feature on the buffet.
So, I try to never go anywhere without my camera and I love living life through the lens and adding a narration to the image. To all my friends and bystanders that happen to get caught up as innocent victims in my obsession I would like to tell you I apologize in advance. Well, not really cause without you I would have to take pictures of absolute complete strangers and I think they have certain cells reserved for those kind of folks in prison.... LOL My friends, you make life worth getting up in the mornings and to you I am eternally grateful....
This is our WLS buddy Marie R.'s College Graduation Celebration.... As you may notice her smiling in some photo's is cause she knows that she is gonna be earning more money than me now cause she has a degree and she is going on to receive her Master's degree which means she is gonna be making a boat load more money than me.... Thank God for friends in high places.....Marie, sweetie I need a loan!!! LOL
