A Wow Moment
Over the last few years, I had basically quit attending professional sporting events, concerts and things of that nature simply because I could not fit in the seats. It was very uncomfortable and I felt as if everyone in the place was staring at the fat lady trying to get in a seat meant for one when she really needed a seat for two.
Fast forward to last night. My husband and I went to a Sounds game (something we have loved to do for the last 25 years or so). I went to sit down and did my usual bracing of my hands on either arm rest to ensure I was able to get as much of me as possible in the seat. Well guess what? It was totally not necessary. I was able to sit in the seat and the only thing touching any part of the seat was my back, rear end, and thighs. There was plenty enough room left in the seat that I was able to put my purse on one side of me and my bottle of water on the other and till did not feel cramped, crowded, or like I didn't have enough room. I could still move comfortably in the seat. I was so excited. The really cool part was my husband commented on it before I said anything. I was grinning from ear to ear and had the best time out I've had in a long while.

Thanks Tara. Glad you are feeling better and well on your way to mending. Be sure you are still catching those ZZZZZ's when you can - anesthesia is hard on your body and will kick you for a few weeks yet. Take full advantage of it so your body heals completely and you don't have any complications. By the way, your new avatar is beautiful, simply beautiful.
That is a wonderful feeling. I'll bet you're still smiling! You go girl!!

P E A C E - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
