GOOD NEWS, BAD NEWS AND A QUESTION!!
Now for the good news. When I got to the office this morning, Laura asked if I wanted to weigh. Of course!! I had been on a stall for about 3 weeks. Well, I have officially lost 101 lbs!!!!!!! I was soooooooo happy!
Now for the question. I got my ice cream maker today. Is it like other protein and have to be used within 48 hrs of making?
Melissa#3 Ok, I'm gonna start with the bad news. Since wednesday, everytime I eat solid food I get horrible stomach cramps. Thought I was gonna have to go to ER on wed. night. Called Dr. McDowell this morning and he had me come in and let him check things out. He said it's one of three things: gallbladder, bowel obstruction or he called it some kind of colic in the intestine(or gallbladder, I don't remember which). Anyway, I have to go monday for a CT scan and back on wed. for a HIDA scan. I hope he gets me well soon. Don't like those cramps!! He said to try to eat some solids but if I can't to stay on soft food. I'm still coming to lunch bunch tomorrow though!!
Congrats on the 101 pounds lost!
I think since you are making the ice cream it should not be a problem. You will be freezing it! Just in case you are interested, here is a link to several recipes!

I am so sorry that you aren't feeling well. Right now, I wish I couldn't eat solid foods! LOL these steroids are making me starve and I am way overdoing it!

Anyway, I bet you dollars to donuts it is your gallbladder. The HIDA scan will tell the tale. Had mine out 2 years ago, it was a breeze. Congrats on your 101 pounds!!
