Pre-Approval Letter away

Hey Everyone,

I finally finished my letter to hopefully get pre-approved for the RYN.  It took SOOOO long to gather everything I thought I would need to make my letter even better.  Now its the waiting game.  The letter alone was 7 pages long.  Was that too long?  I think I included about 20 more pages of information from referral letters from PCP and OB, my childhood doctor's notes, Curves contract, copy of WW weight tracker, info on obesity stats, pics of me and family, heck, I even sent the "thank you" letters from the seminars I attended.  Think that's overkill??

How long before I should start calling and being a pain in the rump to my insurance company?  A week?  I read somewhere that it usually takes thirty days to review my information.

*crosses fingers, toes, legs, arms, eyes*  Did I forget anything?

Thanks for being here and helping mom and me get information gathered and suggestions on what to do.

Now it's just a waiting process!  So, take a deep breath, sit back and relax!  And call the insurance company when ever you can.  Remember, you are in charge, not them.

I think you have crossed everything possible!  Wait a minute, braid your hair, that might help!    LOL!!!!!!

Hey Tina, sounds like you have everything they will need and then some....lol Just hang in there, if it was me I would give it a week and then start calling. One to make sure they got it to start. Did you make copies of everything? Just incase it would get lost. Be sure to keep up with when you called and who you talked to. If possible get a email address, of your contact people at the insurance, doctor office folks. Check with your doctor to see if there is anything special that they request. Most of the doctors ask for some of the same things, but some ask for things that others might not. Keep your chin up and keep us posted.

Scott  ---- didn't think about braiding my hair, but I think it's a little too short LOL

I have everything scanned to my computer and copies in a folder.  Mom sent the package priority with signature confirmation  so I know when they got it and *****ceived it.  So they can't say well "we didn't get it", I can whip out that confirmation and tell them "oh yes you did and this is when".

I feel that I should be doing something else, but patience is something I need.  Now, after I think about it, I could have written another paragraph but it's too late for that.
