Going Home
Hello all! Just a quick note to say I am leaving TN and moving back home to Cali. I am supposed to be flying out the 27th of August but haven't yet booked so that could change. My family has decided that I need to be there so they can help me work towards surgery and we feel there is a better chance of me having it there. Plus, my family is looking into the option of maybe doing it self pay. It was great to meet you all and hope you are all doing great! I am happy to be going home and look forward to meeting people on the Cali board. My sister, who had her surgery last Oct. is down to 198 so she has lost over 100 pounds. We have been able to mend our relationship and she is going to help me work toward the surgery. I haven't seen her since Feb. and can't wait to see how she looks. I have seen pics but in person is different. Hope you all won't forget me cause I won't forget you. Hugs!
It's good to hear from you! I am glad that you are happy with this decision. It sounds like a great plan, and how wonderful that your family is supportive of you having the surgery and willing to help see that happen. I cannot imagine how hard it was for you to be denied surgery, lose a job, and then have your sister get wls. I bet it was very difficult. I know you are happy and proud for her, yet I can fully understand why there would be some stinging feelings inside your heart.
I enjoyed meeting you at the Dinner Club awhile back, and you know... we are always just a click away even when you move to Cali! Just drop in and keep us posted about your journey, whatever stage you may be on. OK? Take care of yourself!
