I will be getting off my butt later tonight with my 1.5 mile walk with my dogs. I have to wait for it to cool off.

Gotta tell you I was excited yesterday with my bike riding, well today I'm in Canadaigua, NY. can't load until 2 AM so had all day to my self and this town has bike paths everywhere. I rode (drum roll please) 23.6 miles. The weather was perfect 75 degrees no humidity nice breeze off the lake. But 23.6 MILES!!!! Two months ago I could do more then a mile! Thanks for letting me share this. C'ya Bob

Congratulations Bob.  That is awesome.  At that rate, you will be able to run a full marathon.  The Music City Marathon runs each year in April in Nashville.  You should come down and participate in it.  They have a half marathon that is 13.2 miles (I believe) and the full marathon that is just over 26 miles.  I am planning on participating in the half marathon and will begin training for it in the next couple of weeks.

Keep up the good work.

I hit the gym after work - walked 2 miles on the treadmill at an incline of 3. Then I worked chest and triceps with moderate/light weights and high reps.

Bobby my boy, 23.6 miles on the bike is AWESOME, brother!! You have come a LONGGGGGG way in just a couple of months of biking. I'm proud of ya man! Heck, I still can't even get the gear shifting down right!

Your exercising while on the road, and accomplishing what you do, is quite inspiring to me!  Leaves me with no excuse not to exercise!!

That's AWESOME, Bob.  GREAT JOB!!!  I am envious a bit, wish I had a job where I could have the day to myself and have the time to ride 2-5 miles much less 23+.  Also would like the part about less humidity and a cool breeze off the lake,......sounds like heaven.

Anyway, I worked 13hours at the hospital today, got in about 3 miles just walking with my job, the home late.   More tomorrow,
Sherry

Hi Sherry,

Was gonna talk some Pleasant View news with you that has saddened my heart...

Did you know Tammy Coombs?  Our sons are friends and I am shocked to hear what happened...  I just can't believe it....

If you do know her do you happen to know how Tommy is doing?

Bob,
If you keep all this riding up, you will be able to pull your trailer across country soon on your bike and will save on gas!!! LOL  Actually, you are doing wonderful and it is great to see you succeed at becoming such a great LOSER!!
