Dr. Appt. yesterday
Well most of you know that I have been having trouble with my right arm, not being able to raise/use it much with out having pain, and due to no insurance, I have been putting off going to the doc. Well we found a place that would kinda give me a grant of sorts that would pay up $1,500 for any type of medical expense. So I finally got a Dr. that would see me and collect the money from this grant. So anyway, I went yesterday, they pulled, push, squeezed, etc. on it, done x-ray's. They don't think that I have torn my rotor cuff at least not yet. They think that my shoulder and arm muscles/tendons are just irritated. They want me to do a nerve test on it to see what that shows. Now that can't be done until Feb ( I will be on TN care then) of next year, because that test cost so much. So they gave a steriod shot in it.........fun..fun........NOT. Gave me some anti-flamatory (sp) meds and wants me to go to therapy and see him back in 4 weeks. I will probably have to have therapy give me exercies to do here at home, again due to insurance issues. I was in alot of pain yesterday, due to everything they done to me, had to end up taking pain meds last night so that I could sleep. If feels maybe a little better this morning, but still painful, just been taking OTC pain stuff. I asked and showed the Ortho Doc my "bat wings" becuse it seems most of my arm pain is coming from where my bat wings hangs down from. He said that could be at least part of my problem, but he seems to think that it is mostly my shoulder. I just hope that I can get this cleared up and try not to offically "tear" the rotor cuff.
