Surgery In The Morning!

Well, my time has finally come and I will be heading to the hopsital in the morning about 4:00 or so. I'm already packed and overpacked....hahaha. I can't believe it and I owe it all to God. I'm not nervous or scared but more like thrilled, excited and anxious, I feel honored that God has allowed me the privilege of getting a second chance with a new life.

I don't know how much more wieght I've lost, since my scales tend to overweigh me, but every pound helps me to look forward to getting to or below the goal weight of 180 pounds, I weighed 10 pounds more than this as a 5th grader. I really don't know if I should laugh or cry, I'm so happy!

My mother, Lucille,  is going to be with me during my stay. My youngest brother, Edward, and his wife, Angel, are determined so they will be there as well, and I thought I was going to get some rest from those two..........LOL.

I will see you guys and dolls when I return, until then........I can't wait to be one of the biggest losers in the lil' ol' town of Shelbyville.

Oh and I must definitely replace those scales, darn stupid things. LOL

Thank you Juanita! I'm so looking forward to this, my doctor said it seemed like we've been waiting forever and now it's finally happening. With inspirational people like you and the crew on this forum I can't possiby go wrong.

It seems like the time has just flown by(for me at least!)  I will be praying for you and waiting to hear from you when you "get back"!  Go ahead and just bawl your eyes out!!! Erika

Oh Erika, time has flown by so quickly, seems like I drank my first no sugar Carnation Instant Breakfast drink just yesterday........lol. Thank you for the prayers and I know God will hear us all, I will let you know how things went when I get back. Don't encourage me to cry or I will and my family will think I've gone crazy.
