Slider foods

Can someone tell me how to find the list on this website that shows the slider foods we have to really watch how much we eat?  I was told Obesity Help.com has such, but I can't locate it.

Thanks In advance

I don't know where it is on O.H., but it's on Living After Wls's blog. Here is a link:

WLS Slider Foods

I don't necessarily agree that yogurt is a slider food... cause we are told to stick with the high protein low sugar yogurt such as Kroger Carbmaster... but there are many yogurts that are thin in consistency, high in sugars, so perhaps that's what she is making reference to.

What concerns are you trying to address?

Hi Sue!  Just wanted to hikjack the thread and say Hi.  I think Melinda answered your question!  I believe it's almost time for a new pic?  82168454@N00

I am just getting started and have been looking for someone who is close to me and has similar profile.  I also am 56 and am using the same Dr.  I have my first diatitian appt. on the 23rd.     I know I will need all the support that I can get!

It looks like you are already on you way!   Congratulations!

Hi Cathy,

I don't live in your area but am about the same age as you and Sue.  I'm 58 and live right outside of Nashville in Mt. Juliet.  I will be having my surgery in the morning and would be glad to let you know how I manage things after surgery if that would help you.

Yes, I am on my way.  Thursday it will be 4 months.  I remember when I started the journey last September.  I had my first nutrition appointment and I was overwhelmed.

Doctor Weaver is the greatest.  She will answer any questions you have.  I felt very safe in her hands.

As you can see from my history, my highest weight was 301...Today I weight 240.  My head is just  now catching up to the actual size I am today.  I am told that is what happens.

I feel good about having the surgery.  Let me know if I can help in anyway.

Ms. Sharon, wow wee girl, you've come along way too. I still remember giving you the details on the SF popsicle, It seems like we just had ours recently and it has been 4 mos. Hard to believe. I am just having a rough time eating, I think it might be the weather, it is just to hot, and I have to make myself eat. I'll eat alittle and I'm full, that's it don't want no more.  Hugs sweetie.
