Update on Shelia
Called to talk to Shelia today, like normal, and unfortunately, she is under the weather. Shelia and I live in the same neighborhood and we lost our power yesterday. I knew it when I walked in and all the clocks were blinking. Shelia filled me in and it seems we were without power for almost 3 hours yesterday during the hottest part of the day. For Shelia, that was not a good thing as she had no cool air in her house. She is still wearing a compression garment for her plastics and due to the lack of air, she got quite over heated. As a matter of fact, when the air came back on, her thermostate indicated it was about 90 degrees or better in the house. Now, we all know what happens when we get too hot, but for Shelia this was not a good thing. She has been sick to her stomach, vomiting and diarrhea since yesterday afternoon. Food is not agreeing with her right now. She is forcing the liquids and they are staying down. So keep her in your prayers for a quick recovery of this as any little thing after surgery, especially plastics, can become a big thing.
Having said that, she asked me to let everyone know she will be back online later and will respond to all the posts regarding hers yesterday. She thanks you all for the posts and your continued thoughts and prayers.
