new size 16 jeans that fit!

My jeans have gotten baggy on me and I have had a hard time finding any that fit. The legs are just too darn skinny in the Junior sizes. My wonderful sister-in-law, and fellow WLS sister, gave me a wonderful suggestion...check out the little boys section. So, here I sit in my new, perfectly fitting jeans. Size 16, loose fit BOYS jeans! LOL Even the length is perfect for my vertically challenged self. And, they are much cheaper than women's jeans.

OMG That is too funny!  I saw your thread title, and thought, "Why is she buying 16's???"  I thought it was a typo, you meant 6, which still would be too big! I go to the little girls' section and bought a few things there, and at Target, they have great deals! Heck, I even thought of buying a training bra from their dept.  It sure would fit better than the big girl bras! lol

Susan, I too thought it must be a typo!! I knew there was no way you wore a size 16!  Don't know that I will ever get that small, but it's nice to know where to shop if I do. B

hey Susan,   I too was wondering what the heck you were talking about!  lol  When I was a preteen and starting to develop, my mom bought me a pain of boys Lee jeans.  At that time, there were no "misses/jrs" sizes.  It was either little girl or womens and I was too hippy for girls and not big enough for womens.  Those jeans out-lasted me!  I got them when I was around 12yo and got rid of them when I was around 23, 24.  (I outgrew them)!  Yes, they are better priced and last much, much longer.  Glad you found something to work for ya!

I was scared!  I guess I'm just like everyone else, I thought it was typo, glad it wasn't!
