Tankful Tursday !
Good Morning to all my weight loss buddies! Well, once again it's time for that once a week celebration of thankfulness! So, put on you thinking caps and let's fill this page with gratitude for the things we are Tankful for!
One of the blogs I read daily is..."Lose Weight Find Life". It's written by a woman who had WLS back in 2001. She has since went on to become a certified "Weight Loss Coach". I really enjoy her words of wisdom everyday, it has a way of keeping my thought process on track. Lord knows with out something to keep this train on track, there would be a massive wreck somewhere down the line!
Anyway (as I attempt to get back on track!), Cathy spoke the other day about choices, How we have the choice to do whatever we want to. That really spoke to me! So, this week, I am Thankful for the ability I have to make choices. Now, not all my choices have been good ones, but I am the one you pays the price for that. I am Thankful that I live in a country that allows me to make choices. I guess I am most Thankful for a Risen Saviour who forgives me when I make the wrong choices!
So, what are you thankful for on this...

I am thankful for God just being God and surrounding me with people that are willing to help me when I can't depend on others. I am thankful to Him for just speaking to my soul and directing and guiding me on this sometimes tedious journey called life.
I said that to say this, sometimes life is not what you want when you expect but God always has a ram in the bush. Thank God for Jesus!

I always feel like we are accepting a Grammy on Thursdays... stepping up to the mic... "I would first and foremost like to thank God... for without Him, none of this would have been possible... then I would like to thank my parents... for without them, I would not exist... then I would like to thank myself.... because I am so great, and I accomplished my goals on my own, and I would like to thank my cousin George because once he drove me to an appointment when my car broke down..."
Anyway, I'm thankful to be alive today...
I'm thankful that I have a good job...
I'm thankful that I have friends...
I'm thankful that I have a good support system...
I'm thankful for my folks....
I'm thankful for... drumroll please, THE GOODWILL
I am thankful for the great insurance that I have that allowed me to have this surgery and finally live the life that I've been wanting. I'm thankful for my husband who has been very supportive through this journey, as well as my family and friends. I'm very thankful for all the wonderful people I have met here on this board and at our support group meetings. Without you all this journey would have been alot harder.
