Stupid Cookies

Well...  I've been craving peanut butter cookies.  For a long time. A week now.  I got some PB2 powdered peanut butter and thought, "Great! It's a lot less fat and better stats" and tried to make cookies last night. They were so terrible. I threw them away. Tonight, I had a brilliant idea.  Let's try cookies again.  So I concocted a little substitute recipe from the one Shelia gave me.  Oh Hallelujah, Sweet Jesus! Those little suckers....  I got 30 out of the ingredients... small cookies, Thank heavens!  I have now eaten 6. yes, NO, now 7.  I had to put them in a freezer container and put them away, to rest, in the freezer for another day.  Why, oh why oh why....  I know those are trigger foods for me.  I will eat and eat and eat those until they are gone.  Yet, I don't like chips.  I don't care even for protein bars most of the time.  I don't have any problems staying away and saying no to food...  except those dang little peanut butter cookies! Crapola! Does anybody else have this happen to them?  Now I can never make another batch of pb cookies at my home again because the results are always the same:  ME eating them ALL....  one at a time. I asked Tim "Please bring me a cookie."  Then I said, "Where's my cookie?" He said, "I just gave it to you."  I HAD ALREADY EATEN IT AND DIDN'T EVEN KNOW IT!  Oh poop.

Melinda: I feel your pain my sister!  I am so addicted to finger foods that are sweet!!!  I have learned that the only way for me to stay in control is to use sugar alcohol.  If I am scared of the stomach distress I will limit myself but with Splenda...I always overeat!   On BE. Linda came up with a recipe for one peanut butter cookie.  I do much better if there are no leftovers! Be strong sweet girlie!  You can conquer the cookie monster in your soul.  I have faith in you! Big supportive smile! Freddie

We all have triggers as you already know, but those cookies are one for me too!!!!  They melt in your mouth like butter, if we could only find a way to take the fat and calories out of them, they would be a choice from pure HEAVEN!!!  (I guess, you could cut the recipe into a fifth and only have six at a time) LOL

Mel,  I haven't had my surgery yet, but boy do those cookies sound like trouble for me!!!  I'm into my second week of pre-op and dreamed last night that I was in a 7-11 eating a candy bar and heading to Krystals for burgers and fries!!  Then it hit me "I'm on a liquid diet!  Do I spit out the candy bar or keep going?"  When I woke up this morning I had to laugh.  I must be junk food craving food more then I thought!!!  Don't give me the cookie recipe no matter how much I beg!! To answer Bob's question...  I really wanted to say this, but I know each time a person says something in a negative connotation against himself/herself, someone always comes along and makes a comment.  My original thought was:  "I am so stupid! How could I eat ALL those cookies?"  I edited it to be ... stupid... cookies Thus, the title STUPID COOKIES! lol It just goes to show, regardless of where we are on our journeys, we all still have triggers, still have those bad days, still make those horrible decisions with food...  I'm just a recovering fatty at heart.

Well Mel, to me the thing is to learn from our mistakes. We all do and will make mistakes, but if the lesson is learned, then it was a positive.  Butttt, if we making the same mistake over and over, it's a negative and thus we are being S-T-O-O-O-O-PID!!!   Now,  QUIT MAKING THEM STUPID COOKIES!!! BwaHahahahaha!!!

Oh Mel, it would have been nice to just give up after the first try but I see you are a determined one like myself! Don't make any more of those cookies and I mean it, or for your disobedience you WILL have to go to the worse Goodwill we can find I will find a way to drive you there myself and leave you and let every minute account for every cookie you ate and multiply it buy 10.

You eat 10 cookies, you stay 10 minutes x 10 which comes to 100 minutes that's over an hour ALONE. Think about it! Can you tell my dad is a hardnosed person?!..............LOL this actually sounds like something he would say to me. And, cookies are stupid, they have high calories and low IQ's........hahaha.

But remember, I'm you friend.........lol
