Chick-o-Stick Protein Shake
Okay kids...here it is...my beloved shake recipe:
1 scoop Whey Gourmet Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Powder
4-5 ounces cold water
2 teaspoons DaVinci Sugarfree Coconut Syrup
4-5 ice cubes
1 Sugarfree Chick-o-Stick candy (I buy these in Manchester at the Russell Stover Store..exit 114)
1 teaspoon Gosh That's Good Sugarfree White Velvet powder (online)
Mix it up in your little blender and enjoy.
Substitutions: If you don't have the exact ingredients you could use what you have to make it taste the same. For example...the flavors you are trying to bring out are peanut butter and toasted coconut...so...you could use vanilla protein powder or cookies and cream...then add a teaspoon of peanut butter or a Tablespoon of PB2 peanut butter powder (saves on fat grams.) If you don't have the coconut syrup, use coconut extract or lite coconut milk. If you don't have the White Velvet, use vanilla sugarfree creamer. Just mix and play until it makes you happy.
For those who were not at the protein party Tuesday night, let me tell you...this is da bomb!!!
And, there is a Fred's just down the road from me in Goodlettsville. Oh, sweet Jesus, I can have one of these tonight!!
