Help with multi vits
I need some help guys, if I have to take chewable multi vitamins anymore Im gonna puke! Im 10 months post op and I cannot stand to stomach another multi vitamin that is chewable not even the chocolate ones they make me want to gag. Can my pouch digest those big multi vitamins? If so what kind do ya'll take? HELP!!! Thanks

First of all, let me remind you that I am still recovering from plastics so if this sounds horrible, please do not laugh too hard!!! This was just a thought, do you think that you could add the liquid vitamins to a Crystal Light type drink and it would mask the taste well enough for you to stomach them??? Once again, this was just a thought!!! LOL

I know there are some who argue that we don't absorb regular vitamins and medications unless they are chewed, crushed or liquid...I have never crushed the first pill since surgery.
I did use a chewable ADULT multivitamin right after surgery, per my surgeon's instructions. Now I use the regular Centrum multi, chewable calcium (because I like the taste), a b-12 injection twice per month, and gelcap Omega 3 Fish Oil. I don't take an iron supplement because I am post menopausal. Also, I do not take, or need, any hormone supplements to deal with any of the menopause stuff because I have no problems there.
My labs continue to be perfect at almost 2 1/2 years post-op and following plastics. My plastic surgeon was impressed with my hematocrit levels both pre-op and post.
I know a lot of folks really like the Bariatric Advantage products.
