I Have a Date!!!!
I have a date!! July 15th!! I love Dr. McDowell!! In addition to changing surgeons I have made another change. I'm going to have the Gastric Bypass instead of the LapBand. The more we talked the more I decided that was the right choice for me. After we left my husband told me he was in agreement with me, but he wanted it to be totally my decision, so he kept quite until I had made by decision. I will have 6 instead of 5 incisions and will have to stay in the hospital 2 nights instead of 1. I know there are many other differences and will do a lot more reading before the 15th. Get ready to make room on the loser's bench for one more!

Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!! Isn't Dr. McDowell just the sweetest thing?!
I guess you will be starting on the 2 week liquid diet very, very soon.
Does this mean we will be seeing you at the RNY/DS support group meeting on July 1st? It is at 5:30 in Guy Bates Center and July is a protein party. Perfect for someone preparing for surgery! We'll give you all kinds of options for immediately after surgery.

P E A C E - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble, or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.
I will be there! I have another meeting that meets the first Monday of every month, but this month I need to come to this support meeting. I will be having test done Tuesday morning, but I think I can sample the drinks that early in the evening. Thanks for the invite! Oh, and yes I just love Dr. McDowell!!
