Protein Shake Recipes

Found these and thought I would share them with everyone. Go to www.LapBandTalk.com  and search for 200+ recipes. It was posted by user Savedbygrace. I have printed them off and there is 26 pages of them. Some of them have "numbers" with them and some don't, but I think it would be easy to figure them out. Some have just a couple of ingredients and some have several. I am in desperate need for protein ideas, so I am off to the store to get some of theses ingredients and try some of them. I hope that there are some on here that all of you can try. I'm sure that there are several that some folks allready knew about. Everyone has been so wonderful sharing ideas, I just wanted to give a little back. Even though some of them list a specific brand of protein, but I'm thinking that any kind would work, just might need tweeked (sp). Cheryl

To be honest, I did not look at the Lapband site's recipes. But, not all "protein drinks" are created equal, and not all gastric patients follow the same strict regime.  I know and trust BE's site so anything you find on there is going to be good for you, and taste good too. Eggface has some really good ones. I use hers all the time, but I substitute skim milk for her soymilk and water. My new favorite is the Green Giant Protein Shake.  It is made with milk, vanilla protein powder and sugar free jello pistachio pudding powder. Yum. Karen
