Joseph's Low Carb Pita Bread
I found these in the bakery section at Walmart. Here are the stats. They are very thin, and very good! I digested them well, no stomach pain, no glopping up inside my tummy. I cut one in half and filled it with an omelet with salsa & cheese for breakfast. Here are the stats for one pita but I cut it in half:
Calories: 60
Fat: 2
Carbs: 8 minus 4 fibers - 4 net carbs
Sugar: 0
Protein: 6
Compared to the Mission low carb tortilla:
Calories: 80
Fat: 2
Carbs: 12 minus 7 fiber - 5 net carbs
Sugar: 0
Protein: 3
You could fill it with deli meat and cheese... or you could cut them in 1/4 or 1/8 and use them with a Greek style salad cause they taste like Fattoush cafe's little pita breads.
