2 wow moments
Hi everyone, I truly miss not being more active on this site, but having to go to the library every day is a royal pain. Here's my wow moments:
1) I have gone from a size 10 shoe pre-op, down to an 8 1/2 now in a size 7 1/2.
2) my white blood counts were elevated quite a bit two weeks ago. They checked my blood work again on Friday and I went from almost 16,000 back to 5.4 thousand. Normal is 4.6-10.6 thousand. I was excited that I am still in the chronic phase. They figured with my having 4 surgeries, one in April for my neck, and 3 in May that it affected my ability to fight infections causing my white counts to go up.
I'm in physical therapy twice a week. This is for my neck, shoulder (rt) and for the right arm. I am unable to raise it because of having the neck surgery. Yes I have spoken to an attorney, told me to call him after I see my ENT Dr. on July 15th. Voice still isn't much better, but at least I can talk just above a whisper.
I'm enjoying the time with my two baby grandsons. The oldest one in Portland, TN I seldom get to see. But my 3 year old and his new brother I get to see almost daily. They are really precious. The oldest one in Portland doesn't know me as grandma, and we aren't very close, but the little ones I am, and the three year old gets really excited when he sees me.
I miss y'all so very much. I need to go, timer on the computer is about to expire. I will check back with you tomorrow if I get a chance. I will be in the eastern side of Knoxville from July 3-July 9.

Good to see you hun... I know the Library thing is a pain in the arse... I am sorry... But you know, I love to go to the downtown Nashville Library.... I could spend days and days there. It is my favorite place to go...
We missed you at the lunch bunch....You are a charter member.... Will you be able to make it to the dinner club in Murfreesboro? I forget what part of town you are on...
