Changed Surgeons & Got an Appointment!!!!!!

It was going to be August 18 before I could see Dr. Morton and then at least another six weeks before I could have my surgery. So I ask if I could change surgeons so I could get in sooner. I am now going to see Dr. McDowell on Friday, June 27 and should be able to have my Lap Band surgery by the middle of July. I'm so excited, but also getting nervous!!! Will keep you posted on when my surgery date is scheduled.

Hey! I had to switch surgeons in the middle of my process too..........but it was the BEST decision I ever made!.......Everything started working out as soon as I switched. I wish you all the best! Hugs, Leticia

Has anyone used Dr. McDowell for Lap Band surgery? If so would you please PM me so I could ask about the 2 week post op diet. I have a copy of one someone gave me at the Support group meeting, but I've heard that each doctor does something a little different. I'm wondering if I started following the diet now before I see him if I could move my surgery up. Thanks for all the support. I'm planning on attending the Lunch Bunch this Saturday.
