Feeling pretty good this morning

Happy Fathers day to all the fathers out there.  I had such a good day yesterday. I went shopping and had lunch out with a friend. That is the first time I have eaten out since my surgery last Oct. and I can't even remember the last time I ate out with a friend. I know I haven't since he retired 6-27-05. We went to KFC and I had a baked chicken breast and boiled cabbage and it sure tasted good. I walked my 3 miles by myself before I left and did another 3 miles after I got back because H hadn't walked.So I did 6 miles plus aerobics. I didn't do much else yesterday so I felt like I had a day off. I have my garden all planted and mulched and it has been watered so now I just have to wait until it is time to start picking and canning. Better go get dressed and ready to get the day started. I hope you all have a good day and give all the dads a extra hug.  Birdy
