Forgive me if I seem short in my responses... I am manning the board and also doing revisions to policies today! argh! I hate last minute deadlines. I will fully post a great lengthy thread later.  maybe. lol

Mel, not to worry - you aren't short in your responses.  I know what you mean about last minute changes and revisions.  Hang in there, your day will soon be over - it it's not already.  Looking forward to your post later.

Is it the berry flavor that you love so much?  I did find that there is one that is tropical flavor that has extra A,D,E and K vitamins.  I don't love the orange multi but everything else is fabulous!  I especially like the strong cinnamon calcium--reminds me of atomic fire ball candy.

Let me double check when I get home cause I could swear that something I take is tropical flavor! I don't like the mint, choc or cinnamon.  they were nasty to me. But I heard they have changed the formula

First let me say that the pictures are wonderful!!!  You look so happy and so does your family.  Keep up the good work!! I take the chewable multivitamin from GNC in the berry flavor.  I've also tried the bariatric advantage chewables.  They both taste good to me. Melissa

Like Tara, I have been on the Flintstones... and well, I think that there has to be a better choice....My routine is: Morning:  5ish Calcium with D either BA Cherry or a Citracal Thyroid Pepcid Biotin B-1 Mid Morning  9ish Calcium with D again either BA Cherry or a Citracal Lunch  12.30 ish Vitamin with Iron Late afternoon  4ish Calcium with D Bedtime  11ish 2nd Vitamin with Iron Foltrin Iron with B12 in it.   I have to take the Foltrin at night for the same reason you do Tara....it upset my pouch if I take it before I go to bed...  Thanks for the feedback on the photos too.  They were a lot of fun to take.  The lady took 130 of them.. and we narrowed it down to 20... lol  We really did laugh a lot. Photo Innovations in Cool Springs is where we had them taken Juanita... :-)

First, I'll let you know that my labs have been perfect for the 2 years since my surgery. I have also had a bone density test each year and I have the bone density of a 20 something. The only ongoing issue I have is vitamin d levels.  That said, I use: Centrum Multi - in the beginning I used Centrum chewables for adults - 1 per day Biotin, 5mg - 1 per day Omega 3 - because I don't always eat fish 3 days per week - 3 per day for calcium - either TwinlLab Calcium Citrate Chewable wafers with magnesium & D - 4 per day or, Citrical Creamy Bites with D - 2 per day And, since I have had an issue with low Vit D since before surgery, I also take 1000 IU of additional D each day. Since I am post-menopausal, I don't take additional iron so I give myself a semi-monthly b-12 injection (1cc). My insurance covers the injection, they won't cover any oral version of b-12 FYI - RNY patients do not need the ADEK. Only DS patients need this vitamin combo.

  Good Morning Ms. Tawnya,

I just love love love the pictures..  Oh yea, did I tell you I love the pictures..LOL

Your hair looks great,  I see you were able to get your appointment..  Or did you do it yourself?

I have always taken the Citrical... They are humongous though and I have to 1/2 them in the chopper upper thing and then I 1/4 the 1/2 in the chopper thingy...  Time consuming and a little messy but I gag if I don't do that...  I may check into a chewable one...  I like what Freddie takes on the Cinnamon stuff..  I may have to see about that..  I love cinnamon...  The hotter the better...LOL

I am on a prescribed Iron from my doctor..

I take a fruity chewable multi vitamin...  I did love my Flintstones too...

I also take a B-12 shot.  Kevin gives me this every 2 weeks..
